Astri von Arbin Ahlander is a writer and translator whose most recent work includes translating the Swedish bestseller “Easy Money” (“Snabba Cash”) into English. She’s finishing an M.F.A. at Columbia University, where she teaches creative writing. She also runs The Days of Yore, a website that interviews successful artist about the time before their breakthrough (Yup, another way to look behind-the-scenes at the way people live their lives and build their careers.)
